Bennett Valley Union Elementary

The Bennett Valley Union School District (BVUSD) serves approximately 950 students on two elementary campuses. Both schools are located in southeast Santa Rosa in quiet, residential neighborhoods, combining the best of rural and suburban settings. Yulupa serves TK-3 and Strawberry serves our 4th - 6th grade students. BVUSD is one of the top-performing districts in Sonoma County. Both of our elementary schools are California Distinguished Schools. Strawberry is a Gold Ribbon School and Yulupa has ranked in the top 5% of California elementary schools by U.S. News & Reports. We approach instruction with bold certainty that all students can learn while pledging to provide our children with both roots & wings. Our mission is distilled into three key priorities: scholarship, mentorship, and friendship. Located 1.5 hours north of San Francisco in Central Sonoma County, the city of Santa Rosa offers wineries, a wildlife park, its own symphony, and the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts. Santa Rosa is 45 minutes from the ocean at Bodega Bay and Redwood forests. Sonoma County is family-friendly and known for its diverse outdoor recreation options, with over 70 parks and miles of hiking and biking trails.
