UX Designer

Our client is seeking an experienced UX Designer to join the Focus Team and play a key role in designing user-friendly digital solutions. The Focus Team is a multidisciplinary unit consisting of product owners program managers full-stack developers test specialists and AI developers.

Core Responsibilities & Skills:

• User Research & Testing:Gather and interpret user needs translate them into interaction models and functional features and lead user interviews and testing.
• UI/UX Design:Apply strong expertise in web and mobile interface patterns responsive screen design and content-driven page design.
• Design Systems:Maintain adapt and strategically expand design systems while working within existing team frameworks and guidelines.
• Agile Collaboration:Work alongside product owners and developers to deliver long-term design concepts within an Agile/Scrum sprint process.
• Stakeholder Management:Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across large complex organizations.
• Multilingualism:Native Dutch combined with French proficiency is a strong advantage for collaborating across Dutch and French-speaking police zones.

Key Requirements:

Must-Have:

• Experience:5 years of proven experience as a UX Designer.
• Stakeholder Management:3 years of experience in large complex environments.
• Design & Tools:Mastery ofFigmaand experience with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite Sketch etc.).
• Design Systems & Responsive Design:Proven ability to build responsive layouts and manage scalable design systems.
• AI Tools:Hands-on experience using AI tools in design workflows.
• Methodology:Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices.
• Language:Native or C2-level Dutch proficiency (CEFR).

Should-Have:

• Hands-on experience with front-end implementation (HTML CSS JavaScript).
• Experience with additional design/prototyping tools (Adobe XD Sketch).
• Experience usingClaudefor AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience planning and facilitatingdesign workshops.
• 3 years of experience conductinguser interviews.
• Expertise in web accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira & Confluence).
• Good command ofFrenchto support collaboration across police zones.
