We are seeking an experienced Transformation Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic change initiatives across our financial services organization. The successful candidate will manage complex transformation programs that support business growth operational excellence regulatory compliance digital innovation and customer experience improvements.
Working across business and technology functions the Transformation Project Manager will be responsible for planning coordinating and executing projects that drive organizational change while ensuring delivery on time within budget and in line with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project and Program Delivery
Lead end-to-end delivery of transformation projects from initiation through implementation and post-deployment review.
Develop project plans governance frameworks milestones budgets and resource requirements.
Monitor project performance and proactively manage risks issues dependencies and change requests.
Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed scope timeline quality standards and business outcomes.
Coordinate multiple workstreams across business operations technology risk compliance and external partners.
Transformation and Change Management
Support the design and execution of strategic transformation initiatives including digital operational regulatory and organizational change programs.
Drive stakeholder engagement and alignment across all levels of the organization.
Facilitate workshops and working sessions to define future-state processes and operating models.
Promote adoption of new processes systems and ways of working through structured change management activities.
Track realization of business benefits and transformation objectives.
Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with senior executives business leaders and project sponsors.
Provide regular status updates executive reporting and governance committee presentations.
Manage expectations and facilitate decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups.
Act as a trusted advisor on project delivery transformation methodology and organizational change.
Governance and Risk Management
Ensure compliance with internal governance standards regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks.
Maintain project documentation reporting and audit trails.
Escalate key risks and issues appropriately and propose mitigation actions.
Support regulatory and compliance-driven initiatives where required.
Financial and Resource Management
Manage project budgets forecasts and expenditure tracking.
Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure effective project delivery.
Monitor vendor performance and support procurement activities where relevant.
Ensure optimal utilization of project resources.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Economics Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
Masters degree is an advantage.
Professional project management certification such as PMP PRINCE2 Agile Scrum or equivalent preferred.
Change management certification (e.g. Prosci) is considered an asset.
Fluent in English & French and/or Dutch
Experience
510 years of project management experience within financial services banking insurance asset management payments or fintech environments.
Proven track record delivering complex transformation digital operational excellence or regulatory change programs.
Experience managing cross-functional and multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Strong understanding of project governance risk management and change management practices.
Experience working in regulated environments is essential
