MISSION

We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join Rothschild & Co Wealth Management as part of the Business Development department for a six-month internship starting in January 2027.

Working closely with private bankers portfolio managers and estate planners you will support a broad range of commercial and strategic initiatives. The role offers meaningful exposure to client acquisition relationship development and business management within a demanding wealth management environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role your main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing commercial proposals for prospective and existing HNWI by coordinating the various stakeholders (private bankers portfolio managers wealth planners etc.)
  • Monitoring and analysing market trends
  • Conducting sector and prospect research
  • Contributing to the use and management of specialised databases
  • Actively participating in internal meetings within the bank.

PROFILE

  • You are pursuing a Masters degree in Business Engineering Economics Banking Finance or a related field with excellent academic results;
  • You have an interest in financial services and more specifically in the wealth management sector;
  • Prior relevant experience is appreciated and will be considered an advantage;
  • You are dynamic autonomous and adaptable;
  • You demonstrate a strong sense of confidentiality and integrity;
  • You are able to take initiatives and manage priorities;
  • You are rigorous detail-oriented and well-organised with strong analytical and synthesis skills;
  • You have excellent written communication skills;
  • You have a strong command of MS Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint);
  • Native proficiency in French and/or Dutch with a good working knowledge of the other national language as well as English.
