Sr. IT Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a Senior IT Portfolio Manager to join our team. The role focuses on aligning digital solutions IT services projects and programmes with organisational strategic objectives and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strategically balanced IT portfolio across run grow and transform horizons.

• Evaluate and prioritize portfolio components using weighted methods such as WSJF and Cost of Delay.

• Manage resource capacity allocation and dependencies through portfolio Kanban and quarterly planning.

• Collect and analyse portfolio performance against KPIs and OKRs delivering automated dashboards and reports.

• Oversee portfolio governance risk registers change control and budget alignment.

• Collaborate with solution service programme and project managers and other stakeholders.

Required qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of IT professional experience.

• 15 years experience with project programme and portfolio management methodologies (e.g. PMI PM² PfMP).

• 10 years experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira.

• 10 years experience in IT Governance.

• Experience with enterprise architecture modelling (BPMN/UML) and costbenefit analysis.

Nice to have

• Handson experience with GovIS2 Jira Align or equivalent PPM platforms.

• Knowledge of COBIT and ITIL4 frameworks.

• Background in cybersecurity principles and IT asset protection.

• Experience performing AsIs/ToBe and gap analyses.
