Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
NextLink is having an existing position as a IT Functional Analyst in Brussels area Belgium.

The candidate will be part of a dynamic IT Department of around 100 persons with multiple teams and with E2E responsibilities. This department is responsible for all software developments of insurance related applications. The applications are developed based on a Microfocus mainframe emulator in Windows (programming language Cobol/Mix ) with various technologies used on the frontend (.Net CRM) printing Integration and communication side.
As a Functional Analyst you will
Be in charge of translating business requirements into a structured IT solution while keeping
a functional approach and respecting the standards
Help translating this functional design into well-tailored technical design
Prepare functional integration test cases based on the requirements
Test the product before delivery to the users
Analyse potential corrective actions to be taken
Coordinate technical designers and programmers during implementation of functionalities
Work closely with the business to ensure the final solution fits their needs
Report to your manager and project leaders on the progress of your work
Actively support the Project leaders in the project implementation
Profile:
Language: English fluent French OR Dutch fluent
Minimum 3 years experience
Professional bachelor or master in engineering Computer Sciences Sciences.
Significant experience as IT Functional Analyst ideally in large company in direct contact with Business stakeholders
