Senior Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to help build a scalable and high-performance platform within a socially relevant context.

The platform consists of various modules. The system is business-critical and is developed using modern engineering principles within an Agile environment.

We are not looking for a ticket developer but a senior engineer who takes ownership ensures quality and brings technical maturity to the team.

In your role you will:

• Develop backend services in (TypeScript-first)
• Build high-performance and maintainable frontends in React
• Work with PostgreSQL in a production environment
• Contribute to discussions on architecture scalability and security
• Implement test automation and monitor code quality
• Work within an Agile/Scrum team
• Actively contribute to improvements in the way-of-working
• Coach fellow developers where necessary

You will have a real impact on technical choices and development standards within the platform.

• Demonstrable experience in executing programming tasks efficiently: coding testing and debugging
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Agile development methodologies with the ability to take on a leadership role
• Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2

Requirements

Must Have

• Demonstrable experience in developing web-based applications: 5 years
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with in backend development
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with PostgreSQL and relational databases
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with React for modern frontend applications
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with TypeScript and JavaScript in production environments
• Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2

Should Have

• Demonstrable experience in leading a development team and coaching developers
• Demonstrable experience in executing programming tasks efficiently: coding testing and debugging
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Docker and containerization
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Agile development methodologies with the ability to take on a leadership role
