Job Summary
- Incoming inspection from external providers of products or services/processing (e.g. nickel plating).
- In-process and final inspection of critical features such as witness inspection.
- Compilation of final inspection sign-off sheet and report packages.
- Verification that inspection equipment used to take measurements is capable of detecting defects.
- Verification that inspection methodology is adequate per drawing intent.
- Audit and validate the execution to the inspection plan.
- Provide weekly reports of manufacturing sites ramp progress equipment quality performance of the facility delivery details by Data Center site.
- Conduct periodic quality audits of the suppliers factory provide reports of results.
- Drive closure of findings identified as non-conformance.
- Ensuring suppliers quality control system document the findings.
- Provide customer witness for test scripts including but not limited to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for all equipment. Validate equipment is acceptable with no issues and compliance to the Level 1 commissioning process (Red/Orange tags) before shipment to the Data Center.
- Inspection of rivets and mechanical assembly
- Ability to read diagram for wiring assembly
- Experience with inspecting electromechanical components preferably cooling systems
- Welding experience and inspection techniques of weld integrity
- 5 years professional experience OR3 years with ASME or CWI certification
