As a Project Engineer (M/F/X) in the Nuclear Pressure Equipment team you will join a dynamic team that works every day for our customers and in doing so helps create a safer and more efficient society. About the role

Monitoring/supervision (checking conformity with standards and regulations) of construction/fabrication installation and inspection activities performed on nuclear pressure equipment specifically on high-end projects in the nuclear business. You will be performing inspections on-site in nuclear assets across Europe after receiving a dedicated training in the domain.

This involves:

  • Carrying out regulatory inspections of pressure equipment during manufacture or in service in the nuclear sector.
  • Supervising the performance of forgings machining welding activities and NDT inspections presented by the service providers and customers.
  • Verification of the (non-destructive) testing and welding reports drawn up by the service provider and customer.
  • Assess manufacturing files and End of manufacturing reports
Do you have what it takes
  • You have an engineering degree and a first experience in non-destructive testing and welding.
  • You are fluent in Dutch or French have a good command of English and are willing to learn the other national language.
  • If you already have experience in the nuclear sector in particular with follow-up of manufacturing activities this is also a considerable advantage.
  • If you have experience and knowledge of the applicable codes and regulations ASME PED ESPN RCC-MR RCC-M this is seen as a strong plus.
  • Have excellent analytical skills are pragmatic and able to manage stressful situations.
  • Team-player customer-oriented and able to communicate openly with your superiors and third parties.
  • You are available to travel internationally (up to 5070% of the time) from Monday to Friday.
