NextLink is having an existing position as a .NET Analyst Developer in Brussels area Belgium.

Analyst-Developer is a hybrid profile combining strong DDD knowledge with solid software
development skills. This role supports our modern domain layer initiative by acting as both a developer and a technical analyst who translates architecture into analysis documents user stories and code.
Importantly this person helps strengthen domain-driven thinking in the team while collaborating with analysts who bring strong traditional analysis expertise.
Analyst (50%)
Architecture translation
Translate high-level architecture and domain models (defined by the Solution Architect) into detailed analysis documents user stories acceptance criteria and technical specifications
Domain-Driven Design application
Apply DDD principles to break down feature requirements into bounded contexts aggregate roots
aggregates entities value objects and repositories
Domain analysis enablement
Support the team in adopting domain-driven thinking and domain analysis methodology; help transition
from traditional analysis to DDD-aligned analysis
Legacy integration analysis
Work with COBOL experts to understand existing system behavior and identify refactoring/extension
requirements necessary to support the new domain model
Technical requirements definition
Convert architectural decisions into actionable technical requirements that development
and legacy system changes
Developer (50%)
.NET implementation
Design and implement components aligned with DDD principles
API implementation
Translate predefined API contracts (designed by architects) into clean code that
reflects the underlying domain model
Domain model implementation
Design and implement services aggregate roots aggregates entities value objects and repositories
based on DDD principles and API requirements
Code quality
Maintain solid standards for code design maintainability and adherence to architectural patterns
End-to-end delivery
Deliver complete features from requirements through production deployment including integration
testing and legacy system coordination

Required Skills:
57 years of professional software engineering experience (medior to senior level preferred). Strong Python programming skills with solid understanding of software engineering principles design patterns and best practices. Strong technical analysis architecture and design skills. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code GitHub Copilot Cursor or similar AI coding assistants. Experience designing AI agents developer tooling plugins prompt engineering or AI-enabled software development workflows is highly desirable. Experience building scalable software for cloud environments. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Passion for delivering high-quality software and reliable releases. Ability to balance tactical delivery with long-term architectural vision. Strong ownership mindset and decision-making ability. Experience mentoring and collaborating across multiple engineering teams.
