We are looking for a Medior DevOps / Azure Engineer to support development processes and manage deployment release and infrastructure activities.

The successful candidate will contribute to building and maintaining a stable secure and scalable IT environment working closely with development teams stakeholders and external partners. The role focuses on Azure CI/CD Infrastructure as Code deployment automation and ALM processes with some development responsibilities.

• Collaborate with stakeholders on ALM processes and infrastructure choices.
• Advise on Azure architecture and deployment strategies.
• Contribute to the development of scalable environments.
• Provide supporting development activities in .NET.
• Integrate solutions into existing systems and collaborate closely with development teams.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and improve release management processes.
• Monitor infrastructure stability security and compliance.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Manage Azure environments and support deployment and configuration activities.
• Troubleshoot pipeline and deployment issues.
• Work with external partners to resolve incidents when required.
• Improve deployment processes and automation.
• Optimise CI/CD and release workflows.
• Introduce and promote ALM best practices.
• Document pipelines infrastructure deployment processes and technical procedures.
• Share knowledge with internal teams and external partners.
• Help standardise development and deployment practices.

• Medior-level experience in DevOps Azure software development or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code preferably Terraform.
• Experience with PowerShell and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of Git and version control.
• Understanding of .NET / React / Microservices architectures.
• Experience with deployment and release management.
• Understanding of application and API security.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Knowledge of Service Fabric.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with development teams stakeholders and external partners.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with advanced Azure deployment strategies.
• Experience in automating infrastructure and application deployments.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps and ALM best practices.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Software Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.

• Dutch or French: Native or bilingual proficiency.

• This is a fully onsite position in Dessel Belgium; remote work is not available.
• Candidates must be able to commute to the Dessel site.
• A security clearance/authorisation or security screening may be required as part of the selection process.
• Candidates should indicate whether they or their company already hold the required security clearance.
