JR FortranPython Developer

We are looking for a developer/analyst to strengthen our technical team. Our team is responsible for maintenance of the evolution and development of software solutions for the proper functioning of the Châtelet rolling mill.

Role:

Analyze the needs and propose suitable technical solutions.

Develop maintain and optimize existing industrial applications using programming languages Fortran 77 C and C.

To integrate into the study reflection and development of the future software infrastructure.

Participate in the development of technical documentation.

Provide technical support and resolve incidents as part of on-call duties (1 week per month).

Collaborate with different teams to ensure the success of projects and adherence to deadlines.

Desired profile:

We are looking for a professional with the following skills and experience:

Higher education in computer science or equivalent discipline.

Proven experience in software development particularly with Fortran 77 C C and DCL.

Experience in C# framework is a plus.

Knowledge of OpenVMS and MicroVAX operating systems is a plus.

Ability to work in a team while also demonstrating autonomy.

Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems.

Availability to be on call 1 week per month.

Good communication skills and rigor in writing documentation.
