IT Service Manager Modernization & Microservices Program (Hybrid Brussels)

We are looking for an experienced IT Service Manager to support a major digital transformation and modernization program focused on migrating a legacy monolithic platform to a modern microservices architecture running on Kubernetes.

The role combines service management team coordination technical oversight and continuous improvement within a large-scale enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support IT teams within a large transformation program
• Ensure service quality operational efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction
• Monitor reporting KPIs dashboards planning and documentation activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational optimization
• Support collaboration across technical and business teams
• Participate in the transition toward API-first and event-driven architectures
• Ensure alignment between IT services and evolving business requirements
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and management stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in IT Service Management and team coordination
• Expertise in DB2 and data quality principles
• Good understanding of:
  • Microservices architecture
  • Kubernetes environments
  • REST APIs and asynchronous communication (queues event-driven systems)
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with KPI reporting planning and operational documentation
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and cross-team environments
• Experience coaching supporting or managing IT professionals is highly valued

Languages

• English: Active knowledge
• French and/or Dutch: Nice to have
