IT Associate Engineer

Division: Group Technology Services (GTS)

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development maintenance and support of CICD pipelines and tooling (e.g. automation deployments integrations).
• Participate in day-to-day squad activities including backlog refinement daily stand-ups and sprint reviews.
• Support incident resolution and problem analysis related to CICD processes and production deployments.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards security and governance practices.
• Contribute to documentation knowledge sharing and onboarding materials.
• Assist in testing activities (functional technical validation pipeline testing).
• Proactively identify improvement opportunities in processes tooling and workflows.

Expected skills & experience

• Basic to intermediate understanding of:
  • CICD concepts (pipelines automation version control)
  • DevOps practices and agile ways of working
• Familiarity with relevant tools and environments (e.g. Git Azure DevOps/TFS scripting mainframe or distributed systems depending on your stack).
• Ability to analyze issues and propose solutions with support from senior team members.
• Good communication and collaboration skills within a distributed team environment.

• Works on defined tasks with guidance from senior engineers or the Product Owner.
• Gradually increases autonomy in owning small features or enhancements.
• Actively collaborates within the team and seeks feedback to improve.
