Job Summary

Game Development Programmer Unity / XR

We are looking for a Game Development Programmer to join an innovative XR development team building immersive simulators for professional training and realistic scenario-based experiences.

You will work closely with programmers 3D artists designers project leads and operational users to develop high-quality VR AR and MR solutions using Unity and C#.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop implement and maintain XR simulators and interactive experiences using Unity and C#
  • Write clean efficient and maintainable C# code
  • Implement game mechanics interactive XR elements and realistic training scenarios
  • Debug and optimize applications for smooth performance across XR platforms
  • Work closely with end users designers 3D artists and other developers
  • Rapidly prototype test and iterate new XR features and scenarios
  • Apply game design principles to create authentic and effective simulation experiences
  • Maintain clear technical documentation covering code systems and development processes
  • Keep up to date with emerging XR technologies tools and development practices
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary environment involving technical operational and external partners
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Game Development or a related field or equivalent proven industry experience
  • Strong proficiency in C#
  • Hands-on experience with Unity
  • Experience developing games and/or XR simulators
  • Experience with VR AR and/or MR
  • Understanding of:
    • Game development principles
    • XR technologies
    • Physics
    • Mathematics
    • Algorithms
    • Performance optimization
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collaborative environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience working with 3D scanning and digital reconstruction
  • Knowledge of LiDAR and photogrammetry
  • Experience optimizing 3D scans
  • Experience in operational training or simulation environments
  • Previous experience in security defence police or other professional training environments
Portfolio

A portfolio demonstrating previous game development and/or XR simulator projects is required. Candidates should be able to showcase their hands-on experience with Unity C# and XR development.
