We are looking for aData Science and AI Technology Leadwho is strategic collaborative and hands-on to join us in our Digital and Technology team based in our HQ office in Brussels Belgium.

About the role

You will shape the technology direction behind UCBs advanced analytics and artificial intelligence platforms and turn it into secure scalable capabilities that deliver real business outcomes. With a global scope across multiple domains you will lead platform evolution end to end from roadmap and architecture to delivery governance and operations. Your decisions will directly influence how data scientists analysts and business teams consume data and artificial intelligence at scale. You will work closely with internal teams and technology partners to introduce new services integrate tools and continuously evolve the analytics landscape.

Who youll work with

You will be working in a team that operates at the intersection of data science engineering and business impact. You will collaborate closely with data scientists data engineers analytics leaders information security infrastructure and technology strategy colleagues. You will also engage with external partners and a matrix environment you will help align priorities across domains and ensure analytics capabilities effectively support domain-driven initiatives.

What youll do

• Define and drive the technology roadmap for advanced analytics and artificial intelligence platforms ensuring scalability sustainability and alignment with enterprise standards
• Design and deliver new platform services with technology partners integrating multiple tools and environments to meet evolving user needs.
• Own the full platform lifecycle including operations upgrades performance and continuous improvement of global analytics platforms
• Establish and oversee platform governance and operations including access management configuration and performance optimization
• Set and enforce technical standards and best practices for architecture security and quality; review designs and resolve complex technical challenges
• Lead platform initiatives and projects coordinating stakeholders and vendors to deliver outcomes successfully in a global matrix organization
• Drive review and sign-off designs related to (advanced) Analytics and AI solution architecture

Interested For this role were looking for the following education experience and skills

• Masters degree or equivalent experience in data analytics computer science or a related field
• At least 8 years of experience designing and delivering advanced analytics or artificial intelligence solutions at enterprise scale
• Proven experience in a technology leadership or platform role with clear accountability for strategy and delivery
• Data Analytics and AI solution architecture experience
• Strong hands-on experience with analytics programming and modeling using Python and R
• Solid experience with cloud-based analytics platforms particularly within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem Snowflake and Databricks
