Configuration manager M-BOM
Job Summary
Mission:
Support of Configuration management team
The configuration manager MBOM (Manufacturing BOM) ensures the proper creation of the manufacturing BOM for new product in our portfolio but also the me maintenance of the actual portfolio. He/she will be responsible to verify completeness of the M-BOM before officializing it in the PLM system and communicating it towards the ERP system (OCM).
Assure the necessary product baselines (configuration) will be registered during the development and validation of the product. These baselines are linked to the development process (DDQS) defined by Thales.
He/she coordinates and monitors the execution of M-BOM changes from development verification and validation up to industrialization.
Mission Overview:
Due to the number of projects we need reinforcements in the Configuration team especially on the M-BOM part. The PLM tool used is PTCs Windchill linked to the CAD tool Creo.
- Verify the content of the M-BOM: structure presence of E-BOM articles necessary sub-assembly levels inclusive their documentation (DRWs production instructions process inspections production tools )
- Assure that all documents are validated (approvals) by the respective services before officializing them in the PLM system
- Follow up ECR tasks related to M-BOM changes fine tune the content with logistics & production department.
- Fine tuning change implementation with logistics production and purchasing (activation date product obsolescences > scrapping of stock retrofit )
- Check correct data receiving into ERP system (OCM) with logistics
- Creation of Baseline M-BOM linked to project or contract mile stones
- Manage all process changes (purely M-BOM) according internal & customer regulations
- Manage M-BOM variants due to customer specific requirements
- You play an important role in the communication towards the logistic and production facilities so its important that your soft skills are at a high level.

Profile requirements:
- >5 years of professional experience in a product and process development team
- Experience with a PLM system ideally Windchill
- Experience in configuration and change management processes
- Know how on ERP work flow & activities (ordering follow up stock depletion )
- Rigorous meticulous and organized
- Strong soft skills effective communication
- Language: French proficient English good level
