Job Summary

Cloud Architect Azure / Hybrid Infrastructure
About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to design and guide secure scalable and reliable cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions within a complex public-sector environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and validate Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Develop cloud standards landing zones governance and infrastructure strategies.
  • Design Azure networking including VNets DNS routing firewalls VPN and ExpressRoute.
  • Define cloud security and Identity & Access Management architectures including Zero Trust Entra ID and RBAC.
  • Design solutions for backup disaster recovery high availability and business continuity.
  • Support container platforms such as Kubernetes OpenShift and AKS.
  • Implement and promote Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform Bicep PowerShell or Azure CLI.
  • Establish monitoring logging and observability using Azure Monitor Log Analytics and Defender for Cloud.
  • Ensure effective integration between on-premise infrastructure and cloud environments.
  • Provide architectural guidance documentation and knowledge transfer to technical teams.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure security networking database and project teams.
Requirements
  • Expert-level experience with Microsoft Azure Architecture and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure networking cloud security and IAM.
  • Extensive experience with Terraform/Bicep and cloud automation.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes/container platforms.
  • Experience with Windows/Linux servers virtualization and enterprise storage.
  • Excellent analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Dutch French and English proficiency.
