Chief Enterprise Architect
Job Summary
The Chief Enterprise Architect will be responsible for the complete management of the definition and implementation of the enterprise architecture repository according to the phasing and schedule agreed upon by the sector.
His responsibilities will include compiling (in close collaboration with various stakeholders in the sector) and presenting the following deliverables:
- Enterprise Architecture Repository
- Information system mapping
- Architecture models (business functional organizational application data and technical - ArchiMate)
- Information model developed in collaboration with the information manager and infrastructure model developed with the architecture team
- Principles standards and patterns of architecture
- Architecture governance framework: roles policies and standards
- Compliance with regulatory standards - NIS2 GDPR
- Roadmap and trajectories for the transformation of the information system
- Presentation aid for management
The Chief Enterprise Architect is accountable for all project deliverables and their compliance with quality planning and governance requirements.
To achieve this it relies on internal teams including process managers business experts and data experts as well as relevant business stakeholders from the organizations concerned who contribute to the production of these deliverables.
The Chief Enterprise Architect remains responsible for the overall consistency quality and validation of the deliverables produced as well as their presentation in the projects governance bodies (sectoral architecture committee and sectoral digital platform).
General experience required:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture urban planning or information systems architecture.
- Proven experience in defining and deploying enterprise architecture repositories and transformation roadmaps.
- Experience in strategic consulting missions with general management / executive committees.
- Experience in multi-business or multi-entity organizations (public semi-public structures utilities etc.).
Relevant industry experience preferred:
Experience in:
- Public services / inter-municipal bodies / local authorities
- Utilities (water energy etc.)
- Technical organizations operating industrial and geospatial information systems
Valued knowledge:
- Water industry systems and related applications
- GIS / geomatics (distribution areas networks)
- ERP/SAP and application integration
- SCADA systems / sensors / IoT
- Asset management
Enterprise architecture skills:
The profile must link strategic vision technical expertise and cross-functional governance in order to urbanize the information system and secure the foundations of the transformation.
