Job Summary

Backend Developer
Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend Developer to develop maintain and improve core business applications in an Agile/Scrum environment. You will work closely with analysts architects and other developers to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop backend services and REST/WebAPI using .NET Framework 8.
  • Develop and maintain applications using WebForms/MVC.
  • Design manage and optimize SQL Server and Oracle 19 databases.
  • Develop and work with XML and JSON.
  • Use Entity Framework Core for data access and complex query optimization.
  • Apply design patterns SOLID principles and development standards.
  • Analyse functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance of existing applications.
  • Write and execute unit tests and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Use Azure DevOps Git and TFVC.
Requirements
  • Strong experience with .NET / .NET Core / .NET 8.
  • Expert knowledge of Entity Framework Core including complex queries and optimization.
  • Experience with MVC and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Good knowledge of SOLID OOP and design patterns.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Ability to understand UML and BPMN models.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Autonomous proactive and quality-oriented.
  • Fluent/native-level French is mandatory.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with WCF SOAP/Web Services and W3C standards.
  • Practical knowledge of Redgate tools.
  • Knowledge of TFVC.
