QA Automation Engineer — Mid Senior

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated testing strategies.
• Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
• Perform functional regression integration and end-to-end testing.
• Automate web applications using Selenium Playwright Cypress or equivalent.
• Perform API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
• Validate application and transaction data using SQL.
• Analyze requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios.
• Identify document and track defects.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare test reports and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with developers Product Owners Business Analysts and DevOps teams.

Enterprise Testing Exposure

Depending on the engagement candidates may work on:

• Digital banking platforms
• Financial transactions
• Payment APIs
• Mobile/web applications
• Telecom platforms
• Insurance systems
• Enterprise workflows
• Integration platforms
• High-volume transaction systems

Senior-Level Expectations

• Design QA automation strategy and framework architecture.
• Establish automation standards and best practices.
• Review automation code.
• Mentor QA engineers.
• Support test estimation and planning.
• Lead complex integration and regression testing.

Qualifications :

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in CSE Software Engineering IT or related field.
• 38 years of relevant QA/testing experience.
• Strong automation testing experience.
• Selenium Playwright Cypress or equivalent.
• API testing experience.
• Good SQL knowledge.
• Experience with Java Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Agile/Scrum and Jira experience.

Preferred Skills

JMeter Performance Testing BDD Postman CI/CD Mobile Testing Security Testing Database Testing

Experience in banking fintech telecom insurance or enterprise applications will be highly valued.
