Job Role:

To support the financial governance and strategic growth of its Bangladesh business operations the Global Finance Department is strengthening its executive finance leadership structure within the region. The organization promotes a highly analytical performance-driven and collaborative corporate environment focused on operational efficiency financial discipline and long-term commercial sustainability.

The Finance Director is a senior executive leadership role responsible for overseeing the complete financial strategy fiscal planning and P&L management of the companys Bangladesh operations. Acting as the strategic financial partner to the Country Business Head this position carries full accountability for financial performance management corporate compliance risk mitigation and cross-functional financial governance.

The role requires a highly experienced finance professional capable of managing complex multinational financial operations while converting sophisticated financial data into strategic business recommendations for executive leadership and regional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute financial business plans annual budgets forecasting models and long-term financial strategies to support regional business growth and operational sustainability.
• Oversee the full P&L structure balance sheet optimization working capital management and corporate financial reporting processes while ensuring continuous liquidity management.
• Ensure all accounting taxation treasury and financial operations remain fully aligned with regional SOPs global corporate policies and international accounting standards including GAAP and IFRS.
• Provide strategic financial advisory support on major logistics contracts taxation matters insurance exposure and financial risk management to protect business interests.
• Design and implement strong internal control systems financial workflows and technology-driven reporting frameworks to improve operational efficiency and audit readiness.
• Lead and develop the finance organization by strengthening team capabilities driving performance management practices and promoting high ethical and professional standards.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bangladeshi nationality.
• Bachelors Degree or higher in Finance Accounting or related disciplines.
• Professional certification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is mandatory.
• Minimum 15 years of post-qualification corporate finance experience.
• Proven track record serving in senior finance leadership roles such as Finance Director or Chief Financial Officer (CFO) within multinational organizations.
• Strong financial leadership experience within logistics management freight forwarding shipping operations or global supply chain environments.
• Demonstrated expertise managing large-scale corporate budgets financial performance frameworks and strategic business analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial governance treasury operations risk management and multinational reporting structures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability with the ability to interpret complex operational and financial data.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams and influence strategic business decision-making.
• High level of integrity professionalism and commitment to ethical financial practices.
• Strong leadership capability with experience managing high-performing finance teams within complex corporate environments.
• Ability to operate effectively within high-pressure multinational business settings.
• Professional fluency in both English and Bangla is mandatory.
