Responsibilities
* Performing comprehensive diagnostic tests on vehicle systems and components to identify faults and malfunctions.
* Conducting routine servicing and maintenance including oil changes filter replacements and tyre rotations.
* Repairing or replacing defective parts such as brakes engines steering suspension and electrical components.
* Utilising state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to ensure accurate fault finding and resolution.
* Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all work performed on each vehicle.
* Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and workshop procedures.
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and within the allocated time.
Qualifications
* Proven experience working as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role.
* A relevant vocational qualification or certification in automotive technology or mechanics.
* In-depth knowledge of various vehicle systems including electrical engine and transmission.
* Proficiency in using a wide range of diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
