Summary:
The Sales Cum Designer plays a pivotal role in bridging creativity and commerce within our interior fit-out and carpentry projects. This position is essential for transforming client visions into functional stylish designs while driving sales and ensuring seamless project execution. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for clients guiding them from initial consultation through to final handover delivering exceptional service and high-quality outcomes. With a dual focus on design innovation and sales performance this role is critical to our growth and reputation in the UAE/GCC market.
Responsibilities:
Meet clients to understand their design requirements preferences and project goals
Conduct site visits and provide professional recommendations for interior and furniture solutions
Develop creative design concepts layouts and detailed drawings
Produce accurate 2D & 3D designs using AutoCAD and SketchUp
Present design proposals explaining materials finishes and design concepts to clients
Prepare competitive quotations project proposals and sales presentations
Coordinate with production and installation teams to ensure timely and accurate project delivery
Maintain consistent client communication throughout the project lifecycle
Manage projects from concept development to final handover
Ensure all projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards
Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in interior fit-out carpentry joinery or furniture industry
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp with strong design detailing skills
In-depth knowledge of carpentry materials furniture finishes and production techniques
Exceptional communication and client relationship management abilities
Proven sales track record with confidence in closing deals
Ability to manage multiple projects independently and efficiently
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
UAE/GCC experience is considered an added advantage
Required Skills:
Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects Solid understanding of cost estimation cost control tendering processes and contract management Proficient in interpreting construction drawings specifications and technical documents Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving abilities Competent in MS Office and industry-standard quantity surveying software Demonstrated ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
