Job Summary

Summary: The Inventory Accountant plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting financial integrity across the organization. This position ensures that inventory data is consistently up to date properly valued and compliant with accounting standards. By collaborating closely with warehouse and operations teams the Inventory Accountant helps streamline inventory processes supports month-end and year-end closings and contributes to audit readiness. The role is essential for driving operational efficiency and financial accuracy in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
Monitor and reconcile inventory and stock records on a regular basis
Track stock movement inventory valuation and product costing
Prepare detailed inventory reports stock analysis and financial summaries
Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy
Identify discrepancies and support timely corrective actions
Assist with monthly closing year-end closing and audit processes
Maintain comprehensive inventory documentation and accounting records
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Requirements

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
Proven experience in Inventory Accounting or Stock Accounting
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and data reporting
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capabilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently under pressure
Effective communication and teamwork skills

Required Skills:
