Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health safety and environmental requirements.
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend practical solutions to prevent incidents and accidents.
- Monitor daily operations and ensure that employees follow approved safety procedures.
- Conduct toolbox talks safety briefings and induction sessions for workers and visitors.
- Assist in implementing company HSE policies and procedures.
- Investigate incidents accidents and near-miss events and prepare accurate reports.
- Ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) is used correctly and consistently.
- Maintain safety records inspection reports and other HSE-related documentation.
- Support emergency preparedness activities and help promote awareness of safety best practices.
- Work closely with site teams to encourage continuous improvement in workplace safety performance.
Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as an HSE Officer Safety Officer or in a similar health and safety role.
- Good understanding of workplace health safety and environmental regulations.
- Experience conducting safety inspections risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when addressing safety concerns.
- Good report-writing and documentation skills.
- Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IOSH OSHA or equivalent qualifications will be considered an advantage.
Required Skills:
Engineer Certified Proven experience with Oracle ERP systems in a construction or project management environment Strong organizational and documentation management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced deadline-driven setting Proficiency in project lifecycle administration and process optimization
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
