QS Manager (Construction)

We are hiring for our client in Bahrain for the position of QS Manager Construction to lead the commercial and quantity surveying function for construction projects ensuring effective cost management contract administration and financial control from project inception to final account closure.

• Lead all QS and commercial activities for construction projects.
• Prepare and manage project budgets cost plans and forecasts.
• Oversee measurement BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs.
• Manage contract administration (FIDIC / bespoke contracts).
• Review and approve variations claims and change orders.
• Certify interim valuations and subcontractor payments.
• Handle procurement support and subcontract negotiations.
• Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with budgets.
• Manage risk disputes and contractual correspondence.
• Prepare and present monthly commercial reports to management.
• Coordinate with project design procurement and finance teams.

• Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional membership (RICS or equivalent) preferred.

• 1015 years of QS/commercial experience.
• Minimum 5 years in construction projects (buildings infrastructure civil works).
• GCC experience preferred; Bahrain experience is an advantage.
• Experience managing QS teams and large-scale projects.
