Gym Instructor

Sofitel Bahrain is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Gym Instructor to join our Wellness & Recreation team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fitness committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences and dedicated to promoting a safe and welcoming environment in our fitness facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide a professional friendly and personalized fitness experience.
• Conduct gym orientations and demonstrate the safe use of fitness equipment.
• Design personalized fitness programs based on guests goals and fitness levels.
• Monitor guests during workouts to ensure correct exercise techniques and safety.
• Maintain the cleanliness organization and presentation of the fitness center.
• Perform routine inspections of gym equipment and report any maintenance issues.
• Support wellness activities fitness classes and hotel events as required.
• Ensure compliance with health safety and emergency procedures.
• Promote the hotels wellness facilities and services.

Qualifications :

• Diploma or certification in Fitness Physical Education Sports Science or a related field.
• Valid Gym/Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Gym Instructor or Personal Trainer preferably in a luxury hotel resort or fitness club.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude with a strong focus on guest service.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays.
