JOB DESCRIPTION

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the financial services activity relevant to the licensee and the wider industry and its regulatory environment.
• Lead financial analysis budgeting forecasting and financial reporting to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee financial operations and implement strategies that support sustainable business growth and financial performance.
• Apply international accounting standards including IFRS and where applicable AAOIFI in the preparation and interpretation of financial information.
• Apply appropriate valuation principles and practices across different classes of asset.
• Assess and manage impairment provisions ensuring appropriate measurement methodologies and compliance with applicable accounting standards.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

• 57 years of relevant experience preferably in insurance industry.
• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field including; professional qualifications such as ACCA CPA ACA/FCA CFA CIPA (AAOIFI) or equivalent.
• Strong leadership analytical and financial management skills.
