Receiving clerk

• Receive and inspect all goods delivered to the hotel.
• Verify that deliveries match purchase orders and purchase requisitions in terms of quantity quality and specifications.
• Check the weight condition and quality of all products before they are accepted into storage.
• Record and report incomplete delayed damaged or incorrect deliveries.
• Maintain accurate receiving records delivery reports invoices and supporting documentation.
• Ensure all invoices and official receiving documents are properly completed and approved.
• Coordinate the transfer of received goods to the appropriate storage or operating departments.
• Prepare daily receiving reports and submit documentation to the Accounting Department.
• Assist with daily weekly and month-end inventory activities.
• Keep the receiving area clean organized and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Ensure the proper use and care of company equipment.
• Work closely with hotel departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Provide professional and courteous service to employees suppliers and guests.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in goods receiving warehouse operations purchasing or hotel logistics is preferred.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or purchasing systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control receiving procedures and workplace health and safety practices.
• Professional appearance and commitment to company standards.
