Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design maintain and optimize the ServiceNow CMDB ensuring data accuracy completeness and consistency.
- Establish and maintain relationships between Configuration Items (CIs) across infrastructure applications and business services.
- Implement and support data ingestion and integration processes from multiple enterprise systems into the ServiceNow CMDB.
- Apply and maintain the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework across the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop and manage relationships between Business Applications Service Instances Technology Management Services Service Offerings Business Capabilities and related CIs.
- Ensure IT asset and service data is structured and governed in accordance with CSDM best practices.
- Collaborate with application owners infrastructure teams and business stakeholders to improve CMDB data quality and service visibility.
- Define and enforce governance policies for Configuration Item (CI) lifecycle management including creation modification and retirement.
- Support Change Management processes by ensuring CMDB updates accurately reflect approved infrastructure and application changes.
- Develop and monitor CMDB health dashboards KPIs and data quality metrics.
- Identify and remediate stale duplicate orphaned or inaccurate CMDB records.
- Work closely with CI owners auditors and governance teams to support compliance initiatives and audit requirements.
- Recommend and implement continuous improvements for CMDB processes governance and automation.
