Description:

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Staff Program Manager and play a key role in driving innovation and execution across our organization. As a program manager you will lead complex cross-functional programs that directly impact scientific advancement customer success and business performance.

You will lead strategic new product development programs from concept through successful delivery establishing clear objectives governance milestones and accountability across multidisciplinary teams. Working across functions and organizational levels you will align stakeholders navigate competing priorities proactively manage risks and dependencies and drive timely decision-making.

Your ability to combine disciplined execution with strategic thinking and effective influence will be critical to delivering programs on time within budget and to defined quality and business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree plus 6 years of experience or Bachelors degree plus 8 years of experience in program/project management leading complex technical initiatives
  • Degree in Engineering Life Sciences Computer Science or a related technical field preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional programs with significant business impact
  • Experience leading new product development programs from concept through commercialization including requirements definition design controls verification and validation design transfer and launch within ISO 9001/13485 quality systems and stage-gate governance
  • Strong program planning governance financial management and risk management capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority establish accountability build consensus and resolve conflict effectively in matrix organizations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively across organizational levels including senior leadership
  • Ability to translate business objectives into executable program strategies priorities and plans
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Experience applying project and program management methodologies tools and best practices
  • Experience managing external partners vendors and cross-organizational dependencies
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office applications
  • PMP certification preferred; SAFe or Agile certification is an advantage
  • Self-directed collaborative and comfortable operating in complex and evolving environments

The payment takes place according to the collective agreement of Trade Crafts and Services. The annual base gross salary for this position is at least 44047.78 and will be overpaid according to qualifications and professional experience.
