Senior Project Manager Product Owner (mfd)

MERKUR Excellence based in Raaba near Graz was founded in 2018 as part of the MERKUR GROUP and specializes in game design and development with a particular focus on casino games.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Product Owner to take ownership of complex development initiatives and lead cross-functional teams in delivering innovative products from concept to release. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking hands-on execution and stakeholder management.

• As our Senior Project Manager / Product Owner (m/f/d) you own and drive end-to-end planning execution and delivery of development projects
• You define project scope timelines budgets and resource allocation in alignment with business goals
• Moreover you lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including development design QA and stakeholders
• In addition you monitor project progress identify risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Last but not least you communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders ensuring transparency and alignment

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Project Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field
• Several years of experience in project management and/or product ownership in software or game development
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in complex technical environments
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban); Waterfall experience is a plus
• Excellent organizational communication and stakeholder management skills
