The mySugr GmbH was acquired by Roche in 2017 and our Vienna office is one of Roches global sites. You will be located here in the heart of Vienna no matter if you work on a mySugr Accu-Chek navify or any other Roche product or solution. You can read more about the history of mySugr & Roche here.

Heres what were looking for:

As a localProcurement Specialist(20h per week)you are expected to have great stakeholder management skills in developing local relationships and have the ability to drive change management in a diverse stakeholder landscape.

This also implies that you are self-driven and can deliver results independently.

You will act as the procurement business partner for key local stakeholders and support the global organisation to ensure implementation of procurement best practice and global category strategies. You are expected to be bold and innovative in identifying new business opportunities and take full advantage of the opportunities provided by the global procurement organisation.

Your upcoming mission:

  • Take part in further scoping the role of procurement and improve established procurement processes

  • Review and challenge existing processes (or tasks) with the ambition to simplify execution and with alignment towards upcoming GEP implementation

  • Review vendor landscape and take part in implementing a preferred set-up leveraging global value propositions from Roche Diagnostics

  • Look for opportunities in savings in the local categories

  • Alignment with Global procurement as appropriate for the implementation and communication of the global strategies in Vienna

  • Be the gatekeeper of purchases and vendor onboarding to ensure compliance with relevant purchasing processes

Most importantly you have an open and creative mind-set with the ability to see the big picture but also not afraid to take part in the operational aspects of business execution. Furthermore you are comfortable with a high degree of autonomy as you will be the sole representative for indirect local procurement in Vienna.

Essential skills for your mission:

  • Education in Economics Business Administration Supply Chain Management or similar

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience within (procurement) project management sourcing category management or business developments Either in a corporate function consultancy or start-up environment

  • Work easily with IT applications (e.g. MS office or Google) and see challenges or as an opportunity to learn

  • Experience with SAP/GEP systems

  • Great stakeholder management skills and understanding the importance of strong stakeholder alignment and communication

  • Capable of translating business priorities into tangible procurement initiatives

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus)

  • An entrepreneurial and strategic mind-set with the ability to think beyond and challenge status quo

  • You are either an EU citizen or hold a valid Austrian work permit

Bonus skills:

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry or other comparable health industries

  • Experience working in start up environments

  • Agile mindset

In Austria we have a legal obligation to disclose the minimum salary according to our collective agreement which is gross EUR 2.968 - per month for this position. But!
