Job Description

Youll connect with the role if you enjoy...

• Supporting the accounting team with daily finance and accounting activities
• Processing invoices payments and other financial transactions
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Assisting with account reconciliations and investigations of discrepancies
• Supporting month-end quarter-end and year-end closing activities
• Working with modern finance systems and digital accounting tools
• Collaborating with colleagues across different departments and international teams
• Learning new processes and continuously developing your accounting knowledge
• Contributing ideas to improve finance processes and increase efficiency

What youll learn...

• End-to-end accounting processes (AP AR General Ledger and Fixed Assets)
• Month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Austrian accounting principles and international finance processes
• Exposure to US-GAAP reporting and SOX-compliant controls
• Modern finance systems such as Workday BMD and other accounting applications
• How finance supports growth in a fast-scaling international technology company

Qualifications

To connect with ecosio it is important to have

• Completed finance/accounting/business education (University HAK FH)
• Fluent German and English skills
• Strong interest in accounting and finance
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Good analytical and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice to have

• First practical experience through internships student jobs or apprenticeships
• Basic Excel skills
• Initial exposure to accounting or ERP software
• Interest in technology and digital processes

The minimum gross salary for this position is 35000 per year on a full-time basis. Final salary is negotiable and will scale based on your skills and experience.
