Group and AT Data and AI Governance team is a department located within the Group & AT Data Management area at Erste Group.

The Group AI Governance Team ensures that AI systems across Erste Group are developed and used responsibly transparently and in compliance with internal and external requirements. The team defines governance frameworks and review processes supports AI risk assessments and works with key stakeholders to evaluate AI use cases. As a central governance function it identifies risks and control gaps provides recommendations and supports informed decision-making throughout the AI lifecycle.

• Support the assessment and governance of AI use cases including generative AI and LLM solutions.
• Identify and document AI-related risks control gaps and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to AI Governance policies standards and assessment frameworks.
• Prepare reports presentations and governance documentation for stakeholders.
• Participate in reviews workshops and initiatives promoting responsible AI adoption.

• Ongoing studies in computer science data science AI business informatics or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of AI machine learning generative AI LLMs and responsible AI.
• Hands-on experience with Python and data analysis; additional AI tooling experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess technical solutions risks and controls.
• Interest in AI governance AI risk management and regulatory requirements (e.g. EU AI Act).
