Job Summary
Your tasks
- Design implement and manage infrastructure with Kubernetes and AWS
- Collaborate with our Ruby/Elixir backend team to containerize applications and deploy them on Kubernetes
- Optimize Kubernetes cluster performance resource utilization and cost-effectiveness
- Implement and manage monitoring logging and alerting solutions with Grafana/Prometheus
- Ensure the security of our environments by following best practices and implementing security controls
- Automate Kubernetes deployment and management processes using Helm Kustomize Flux and Pulumi
- Maintain service communication using Linkerd
- Integrate application dependencies like RabbitMQ PostgreSQL Redis Kafka Snowflake DynamoDB
- Help plan and take ownership of deploying and maintaining our internal tools
- Deal with the challenges of an established and continuously growing project
Your profile
- Proven experience as a Kubernetes engineer or similar role (e.g. DevOps engineer with Kubernetes focus)
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts components and APIs
- Strong knowledge of Linux architecture and administration
- Enjoy problem solving and have a keen eye for details
- Thrive in a small agile team environment
- Love giving and receiving constructive feedback
- Independent precise and well-organized work style
- Enjoy to share knowledge and learn
- Driven by the challenge of delivering high-performance and scalable solutions
- Proficient in English; speaking German is a plus
