Demand Planning Manager, Supply Chain (mfd)
Job Summary

As a Demand Planning Manager you will drive the tactical purchase planning process for all products to ensure the availability of finished goods and execution plan feasibility in accordance with Supply Chain inventory policy. Additionally you will need to ensure effective supply forecasting and business planning. Also you will be responsible for site data master processes which aim to ensure accurate creation and maintenance of master data in company system in accordance with both local and global requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory management - placing import orders based on the actual stock level and forecast with due consideration of SAP (accounting system) parameters follow-up deliveries.
- Inventory optimization based on MOQ (moth of Coverage) MOC (Minimal Order Quantity) and safety stock level ratio
- Forecast adjustments
- SAP master data maintenance
- Coordination and execution of product life cycles events including new launch transfers divestments pruning and expirations
- Accountable for Sales and Business Planning documentation and reports maintenance.
- Preparation of reports for local management RE and the departments.
- Channel Management - daily monitoring of customer forecasted accuracy.
- Monitoring of write-offs and conducting monthly review of stock overview reports.
- Ensure Novartis Global Operating Procedures and Policy fulfilling national regulation requirements and following best international trade governing rules.
Essential requirements:
- University degree in logistics supply chain economics or business management
- Supply chain or logistics experiences planning experiences
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Knowledge of SAP / Kinaxis as advantage
- Strong time management skills
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Requirements:
- Proficiency in German as advantage
- Experience in pharmaceutical supply chain as advantage
Benefits & Rewards
In accordance with Austrian law we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is 59.78196/year (on a full-time basis).We also offer a potential market oriented excess payment in line with your experience and qualifications.
