About the Role

Leap29 is recruiting on behalf of a leading international engineering contractor specialising in mission-critical and industrial projects across Europe.

We are seeking an experiencedMechanical Commissioning Engineerto join a growing Data Centre division supporting the delivery of large-scale hyperscale projects across Germany.

Working as part of an experienced commissioning team you will play a key role in the testing commissioning and successful handover of complex HVAC and mechanical building services systems throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission test and optimise HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Manage assigned commissioning work packages from planning through to completion.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with subcontractors suppliers and client representatives.
• Produce commissioning documentation test records and handover documentation.
• Support pressure testing system validation and commissioning activities.
• Work closely with project management construction teams and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure all commissioning activities are completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Requirements

• Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering Building Services HVAC or a related discipline.
• Previous experience within Mechanical or HVAC Commissioning.
• Previous Data Centre or Mission Critical project experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical building services.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Good English language skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally for project assignments.
