About us
LIVIN farms is a leading provider of automated insect production technology with locations in Vienna (Austria) and the Osnabrück area (Germany). Our modular solutions are used in both agriculture and industry to produce high-quality insect products for pets and livestock.
The main goal of the position
Supporting our R&D team in insect production and contributing to R&D experiments and quality control.
What you will do
- Working with insects in all life stages
- Supporting insect production (feeding watering the larvae)
- Research on insect farming
- Taking part in experiments
- Quality control and recording data
- Documentation of findings
- Maintenance of laboratory equipment
Requirements
- You have ongoing or completed studies in the area of biology or any other related field
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week for at least 3 months or longer
- You have a great interest in the field of entomology prior experience with insects is an asset
- A flexible open-minded approach combined with an excitement for learning new things and a willingness to put in the effort
- Very good English language skills
