Job Summary

The Junior Customer Proposition Analyst will support customer and competitor research analyze client data and help develop and evaluate customer propositions.

Working with guidance from experienced team members the analyst will collaborate with Trading Product Customer Experience Market Research Knowledge and Education teams. The role combines research data analysis process documentation and testing to help bring propositions to market effectively.

Mission of the Role

To help the team make informed decisions about customer propositions by providing accurate research clear analysis and practical support throughout proposition development launch and performance monitoring.

Key Performance Objectives

1. Maintain an accurate understanding of competitors and market trends

Typical tasks include researching competitor offerings maintaining competitor information and tracking customer product and market developments.

The Junior Customer Proposition Analyst will organize findings clearly and keep research up to date helping the team identify relevant market changes and potential opportunities.

2. Turn client data into useful commercial insights

Typical tasks include working with relevant teams to review client data identify trends and investigate opportunities to improve products and commercial performance.

With guidance from senior colleagues the analyst will translate findings into clear summaries and recommendations that support team decisions.

3. Support the development of relevant customer propositions

Typical tasks include researching customer needs connecting those needs to product features and benefits and using available data to assess new opportunities.

The analyst will help the team build a clear understanding of the intended customer value and contribute evidence that supports proposition development.

4. Verify that the delivered customer experience matches the intended proposition

Typical tasks include assisting with end-to-end testing reviewing customer journeys documenting findings and highlighting gaps between the designed and actual experience.

The analyst will help the team identify issues requiring attention and support a consistent customer experience as propositions are brought to market.

5. Monitor proposition performance and identify improvement opportunities

Typical tasks include supporting post-launch performance reviews examining available customer and commercial data and summarizing results for the team.

The analyst will help identify what is working where further investigation is needed and which improvements may strengthen customer value or commercial outcomes.

6. Keep information organized and support effective collaboration

Typical tasks include documenting simple processes and customer journeys contributing to cross-functional meetings tracking assigned work and keeping stakeholders informed of progress.

The analyst will maintain clear accessible information manage competing tasks and seek guidance when needed to keep work moving effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Around 12 years of experience in an analyst commercial product customer experience or similar role.
  • Strong graduates with relevant internship or placement experience will also be considered.
  • Good analytical skills attention to detail and an interest in working with data.
  • Some practical experience with Excel.
  • Ability to organize information clearly and document simple processes or customer journeys.
  • Interest in trading investing or financial markets.
  • Good problem-solving skills including the ability to break down tasks identify relevant information and ask for support when needed.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn about customers products and competitors.
  • Ability to manage time handle several tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive proactive approach and motivation to develop within a commercial proposition role.
Preferred Experience and Knowledge
  • Exposure to Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Jira Confluence or Miro; training can be provided.
  • Basic knowledge of CFDs forex stocks or futures.
  • An interest in continuous learning and global financial markets.
