The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate bookkeeping records processing daily accounting entries supporting banking and payment operations and monitoring inventory fixed assets receivables and payables.
The role also involves supporting month-end and year-end closing activities preparing reconciliations and ensuring that all accounting transactions and supporting documents are processed accurately and in line with applicable accounting standards tax legislation and internal procedures.
To ensure the accuracy and completeness of the companys accounting records support the timely processing of financial transactions maintain proper documentation for banking and payment operations and contribute to reliable financial reporting and closing processes.
Typical tasks include recording daily financial transactions preparing accounting entries in accordance with applicable standards issuing invoices and ensuring that all transactional data is entered accurately and on time into the accounting system.
Typical tasks include monitoring incoming and outgoing payments preparing documentation for bank transactions processing electronic payments executing banking operations and ensuring that all payments follow the companys approval and authorization procedures.
Typical tasks include maintaining accounting records for inventory and fixed assets calculating depreciation performing reconciliations monitoring accounts receivable and payable following up on outstanding balances and preparing aging reports.
Typical tasks include supporting month-end and year-end closing activities preparing reconciliations and supporting schedules reviewing accounting records for accuracy and ensuring that all financial documents are properly maintained and available for reporting or audit purposes.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics or a related field.
- At least two years of practical experience in accounting or a similar finance role.
- Strong knowledge of Armenian accounting standards and tax legislation.
- Experience using accounting software such as 1C or a similar ERP or accounting platform.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills for reconciliations reporting and data analysis.
- Familiarity with electronic banking platforms and payment-processing systems.
- Experience with invoice management and accounting document workflows.
- Experience in a regulated or financial-services environment is considered an advantage.
