About You
- Registered Veterinary Technicians preferred but will consider unlicensed techs
- 2 years working in a veterinary clinic
- Emergency or specialty experience a plus
- Reliable organized and committed to providing high-level patient and client care
Experience
- Venipuncture catheter placement and diagnostic sample collection
- Anesthesia monitoring sedation and procedures
- Placing IV catheters and managing fluid therapy
- Medication calculation and administration (IV IM SQ)
- Diagnostic imaging assistance (radiographs ultrasound support)
- Monitoring hospitalized patients and providing compassionate nursing care
- Surgical prep sterile technique and instrument handling
- Patient monitoring and pain scoring with trend recognition
Compensation
- Base Pay: $34.00-$45.00/hour
- Pay depends on experience whether you are licensed/unlicensed and differentials
- Differentials: $3.00/hour weekends $4.00/hour for overnights
- Registered Veterinary Technicians eligible for $4000 sign-on bonus
- Oncology Ophthalmology Surgery/Anesthesia eligible for a $6000 sign-on bonus
- Surgery Technicians On-Call Extras
- $200 for being on-call plus an additional $300 for coming in
- Eligible for differentials and overtime
