Job Summary

To support this mission Syngentas Production & Supply teams is seeking a Supply Chain Planner for Insecticides and Fungicides in Buenos Aires Argentina. The position acts as a key connector between demand planning commercial teams marketing production sites regional supply teams and global planning stakeholders. It plays a critical role in translating business needs into feasible supply plans ensuring visibility alignment and timely execution across the integrated supply chain.
Accountabilities
- Develop and manage supply plans for the Insecticides and Fungicides portfolio in the Commercial Unit South ensuring alignment between demand requirements supply constraints inventory targets and business priorities.
- Drive balanced supply-demand plans at agreed service levels providing clear visibility of risks constraints and opportunities to support optimized decision-making across the supply chain.
- Coordinate the end-to-end supply planning process from demand reception and system planning to production order placement product availability and follow-up with source plants and asset planners.
- Monitor inventory performance across the assigned portfolio tracking stock levels coverage aging slow-moving and excess inventory and proposing mitigation actions to reduce write-offs lost sales and obsolete stock.
- Ensure supply plans are accurately reflected in planning and ERP systems applying SAP/APO/IBP planning principles and maintaining alignment between system signals operational execution and business needs.
- Collaborate closely with regional and global supply planning teams manufacturing sites logistics customer operations marketing and commercial stakeholders to ensure timely product availability and execution of agreed plans.
- Support New Product Introductions for the assigned portfolio working with marketing demand planning regulatory manufacturing and supply teams to ensure supply readiness and timely product launch according to forecast and business priorities.
- Maintain accurate master data for materials and planning parameters following established Master Data and Supply Planning processes to ensure planning reliability and operational consistency.
- Identify supply risks and constraints build scenarios when needed and communicate impacts clearly to relevant stakeholders to enable proactive decision-making.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and global planning projects contributing ideas to simplify processes improve planning accuracy strengthen data quality and support transitions related to ERP planning system or process changes.
Qualifications :
Required
- University degree preferably in Engineering Business Administration Finance Supply Chain Operations or related fields.
- At least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning Supply Planning Demand Planning Operations Planning or a related role.
- Knowledge of supply chain planning processes in an ERP environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability to structure data identify risks build scenarios and support decision-making.
- Advanced English skills both written and spoken.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions geographies and levels of the organization.
- Ability to influence and gain alignment among supply chain commercial marketing manufacturing and regional stakeholders even without direct authority.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate future impacts from current or potential supply and demand events.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
Desired
- Experience with SAP/APO SAP IBP or equivalent planning tools.
- Knowledge or experience with data visualization tools.
- Background in agrochemicals chemicals pharma or other regulated industries.
- Exposure to inventory management S&OP processes New Product Introduction or continuous improvement initiatives.
