We are seeking an experiencedscheduling migration specialist to support large-scale migrations to IBM Z Workload Scheduler (IZWS / IWS). This role serves as a subject matter expert in batch scheduling conversion across development test and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support migration of batch scheduling workloads toIBM Z Workload Scheduler.
- Analyze legacy scheduling definitions fromCA-7CA ESPJobtracBMC Control-M andASG Zeke/Zebband map them to IBM scheduler structures.
- Execute parallel tracking schedule validation dependency analysis and issue resolution.
- Monitor workload execution usingTSO/ISPFand IBM scheduler interfaces.
- Provide technical guidance and training to scheduling teams and operational staff.
Mandatory Skills and Experience
- Strong mainframe background inOS/390orz/OSenvironments.
- Deep hands-on experience withIBM Z Workload Scheduler (IZWS / IWS).
- Hands-on migration experience from Non-IBM / ISV scheduling platforms such asCA-7CA ESPCA Workload Automation ESPJobtracBMC Control-M orASG Zeke/Zebbto IBM Z Workload Scheduler.
- StrongTSO/ISPFediting skills and expert-level understanding ofJCL.
- Experience with dependency analysis schedule validation report review and iterativeparallel trackingcycles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical collaboration and customer-facing work.
