Purpose of the Job

The IEC Maintenance Mechanic exists to effectively and efficiently repair and maintain existing equipment and fabricate and install new equipment in order to meet production goals and expectations on a consistent basis while maintaining compliance with Environmental Health & Safety Standards.

Key Roles andResponsibilities

Responsible

• Inspectanalyszetroubleshootsystemsandequipment.

• Repairingorreplacingfaultyequipment.

• Fabricationofpartsasrequired.

• Mustfollow all SOPs and allwrittenor verbalinstructionsassignedbyManagers and Supervisors.

• Mustprepareandcompletemaintenancedocumentation suchasworkordersandpreventivemaintenanceformsasrequired.

• Goodcommunicationskillswiththeabilitytocommunicatein Englishforthepurposeofparticipatingin end of shiftturnovers.

• Adhereto allsafetyguidelinesandapplicablecompanypolicies.

• Mustparticipatein thecontinualimprovementprogramandworkwithintheguidelinesof ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001.

• Providetraining to new employees ifassignedtobysupervisor.

• Repairandmaintainallequipment(pumps GLVsfilterpresses etc.) toindustrystandards.

• Ability toweara half-maskrespirator.

• Ability tooperateforkliftscissorliftpalletjack.

• MusthaveelectricalbackgroundandmusthaveexperiencewithHighVoltageupto 480V.

• Automation and PLCbackground.

• Ability toreadanddrawelectricalwiringdiagramsmandatory.

• Ability totroubleshootwiringand PLCissues.

• Ability toworkoninstrumentation:flowmeterlevelsensors pH/ORPinstruments andmore.
