Cloud Network Engineer

Remitee a rapidly expanding fintech company specializing in international payments is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer.
As a Cloud Network Engineer you will be responsible for the design availability performance and security of Remitees network architecture across Azure and AWS. You will work closely with Cloud Security DevOps and Infrastructure teams to support business growth and ensure compliance with fintech security standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Design implement and maintain network architectures across Azure AWS and hybrid environments.
- Build and manage Azure networking: VNETs subnets peering route tables NSGs Azure Firewall VPN/ExpressRoute gateways and private endpoints.
- Build and manage AWS networking: VPCs subnets route tables security groups NACLs Transit Gateway VPC peering Site-to-Site VPN/Direct Connect and PrivateLink.
- Configure and optimize load balancers and traffic distribution (Azure Application Gateway Front Door Load Balancer; AWS ALB/NLB CloudFront).
- Manage DNS architecture including private DNS zones Route 53 and hybrid name resolution.
- Ensure high availability performance and fault tolerance of network services.
- Monitor network performance troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Implement and maintain network security controls (segmentation firewall rules WAF access controls).
- Support Kubernetes networking (AKS/EKS) including ingress CNI and network policies.
- Collaborate with Security teams on vulnerability remediation and incident response.
- Automate network provisioning and changes using infrastructure as code.
- Document network designs standards and operational procedures.

What Were Looking For
- 3 years of experience as a Cloud Network Engineer / Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP DNS DHCP routing (BGP) and switching.
- Hands-on experience with cloud networking in Azure and/or AWS (VNETs/VPCs peering private connectivity VPN hybrid connectivity).
- Hands-on experience with firewalls VPNs WAFs and load balancing solutions.
- Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in high-availability and production-critical environments.
- Working knowledge of at least one IaC tool (Terraform Bicep or CloudFormation).

Nice to have:
- Experience in fintech or regulated environments (PCI DSS ISO 27001).
- Knowledge of network security best practices and zero-trust concepts.
- Experience operating in multi-cloud environments (Azure AWS).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes networking and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with monitoring tools and network observability (Azure Monitor Network Watcher CloudWatch VPC Flow Logs Grafana).
- Cloud and networking certifications (AZ-700 AWS Advanced Networking Specialty CCNA CCNP or similar).
