Job Summary
We are looking for a Backend Runtime Engineer to build the governed runtime foundation of our AI platform including the run-event model policy decision point secure execution flow and trace persistence.
Requirements

- Experience using AI tools to accelerate development testing and documentation.
- Knowledge of AI agent architectures tool-call mediation or autonomous systems.
- Experience building secure highly reliable backend platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the normalized run-event model and trace persistence.
- Build and maintain the policy decision point with allow deny and fail-closed behaviors.
- Ensure sensitive data and secrets never appear in logs or agent outputs.
- Maintain event integrity and correlation IDs across runtime executions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver secure reliable runtime services.
Required Skills:
4 years of backend software development experience. Strong proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python. Experience with policy-as-code authorization or access control systems. Experience designing event-driven architectures or event-sourcing systems. Strong understanding of secure runtime and backend service design. Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing. Advanced English (B2 or higher). Nice to Have Experience using AI tools to accelerate development testing and documentation. Knowledge of AI agent architectures tool-call mediation or autonomous systems. Experience building secure highly reliable backend platforms.
