candidate to fill this positionThe Deputy CoP supports the Chief of Party (CoP) in leading the PCU This Unit is mandated to coordinate the SRC members at Whole of Syria Level and liaise with the various Grant Holders of the Consortium on behalf of the Steering Committee, in order to facilitate a) Impactful, coherent and efficient programming; b) Enhanced Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) and Knowledge Management; c) Impactful Communication, Representation and Advocacy; d) Provide Leadership in Donor Engagement, Networking and Resource MobilisationThe Deputy CoP reports to the CoP and supports the work of the SRC Steering Committee, Member Representatives, Area Coordinators, and MEAL Task Force As the lead agency for the SRC, CARE serves as the host of the PCU, including the Deputy CoP positionResponsibilities Consortium Coordination Programme Development, Monitoring and Learning Management and Compliance Other responsibilities as assignedQualifications Masters degree in SocialPolitical Science, International Developmentor Humanitarian Assistance At least 5 years experience managingimplementing developmenthumanitarian projects in the field with a particular focus on resilience programming Strong experience working with partners and coordination mechanisms, including consortia Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong management and organizational skill ncluding programme, MEAL, finance,administrative and operational support Fluent written and spoken English language skills, with Arabic proficiency desirable
