Responsibilities
Supervision: Lead painting and coating crews ensuring safe and efficient execution of surface preparation and coating activities.
Work Planning: Organize daily tasks allocate manpower and ensure adherence to project schedules.
Quality Control: Monitor coating application thickness and curing to meet project specifications and industry standards.
Surface Preparation: Oversee blasting cleaning and priming activities prior to coating application.
Documentation: Maintain records of paint usage inspection reports and quality assurance documentation.
Safety Compliance: Enforce offshore HSE standards PPE usage and permit-to-work systems during painting operations.
Requirements
Requirements
Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical/Industrial Coatings or equivalent.
Minimum 57 years of offshore painting/coating supervision experience.
Strong knowledge of protective coatings surface preparation and offshore corrosion control.
Ability to read and interpret coating specifications QA/QC procedures and project drawings.
Familiarity with ASTM ISO and NOC coating standards.
Certifications & Training
Coating Applicator Qualification Procedure (WHPR1-MDM4-ASYYY-23-)
ASTM D4228 Coating Qualification
BOSIET / HUET (OPITO certified)
Basic H2S Training
EPCIC Project HSES Induction
